为推动我国现代饲料工业的发展，化学工业部于1985年以山东省化工研究院为依托，成立了新型的精细化工研究机构——化学工业部饲料添加剂技术开发服务中心，2002年改名为化学工业（全国）饲料添加剂工程技术中心。该中心位于风景秀丽的泉城——济南市高新技术开发区内，南依千佛山、北临大明湖，环境优美，交通、通讯方便。科研占地40多亩，建筑面积15000平方米。中心下设中心办公室、合成室、生化室、应用室、分析测试室、化学工业（全国）饲料添加剂工程技术中心实验厂、全国饲料添加剂信息站等8个部门，现有职工90余人，其中研究员5人、高级工程师25人、工程师45人，拥有气相色谱、液相色谱、红外光谱、紫外光谱、原子吸收、X-射线衍射等现代化大型分析仪器，为我国饲料添加剂的科学研究、技术开发、产品服务等提供了强有力的智力支持与技术保证。
该中心是我国唯一集科学研究、工程开发、产品开发、市场开拓、信息调研等为一体的饲料添加剂专业研究机构，多次承担国家饲料添加剂行业的调研与规划工作，先后共完成了国家级、省部级科研课题40余项，承担了国家计委高技术产业化示范工程项目1项，国家“八五”、“九五”攻关等课题共8项，一大批填补国家空白的新产品已陆续投入市场，取得了良好的经济效益和社会效益。中心发起组织的全国饲料添加剂信息协作网已与遍及全国的300余家单位建立了长期合作关系，并与美、日、德、法及港台等地的企业及科研机构进行了合作与交流。
中心将以开发绿色环保、无毒无残留、具有独立自主知识产权、具有前瞻性的饲料添加剂新产品作为今后的研究重点，赶超国际先进水平，使化学工业（全国）饲料添加剂工程技术中心在科学研究、工程开发、产品开发等方面处于国内领先地位。
Introduction to The Chemical Industry ( National ) Feed Additive Engineering and Technology Center
In order to promote the development of modern feed industry in our country , The Ministry of Chemical Industry established the new- type research institution of fine chemical industry ——The Chemical Industry ( National ) Feed Additive Engineering and Technology Center relied on the chemical research institute of Shandong Province in 1985 . It lies in the high and new technology development zone of Jinan city which is famous for its beautiful spring , adjoins Qianfo Mount in the south, border on Daming Lake in the north . It has graceful environment , convenient traffic and convenient communication . It takes up an area of more than 40 mu which be used to scientific research . The construction area is 15000 square meters. The centre is divided into 8 department ,such as :the center office, organic chemical synthesis research department , biochemical research department , applied research department , analysing research department , the experimental plant of The chemical industry ( national ) feed additive engineering and technology center , information station ,etc. . There are more than 90 workers now, there are 5 professors , 25 senior engineers and 45 engineers among t X- ray diffraction instrument ,and so on . It has offered powerful intellectual support and technical support for scientific research, market open-up information survey ect. . The center is only one professional feed additive research institution which integrates scientific research, project development, product development, market development with information survey in our country . We have undertaken the investigation , research and planning of the national feed additive trade for many times , have finished more than 40 items of scientific research at provincial and ministerial levels and national levels successively , have undertaken 8 subject of tackling key problems of " the Eighth Five-Year Plan", " the Ninth Five-Year Plan" in the country . A batch of new products which fill in the blanks ,gaps ,etc. in our country has already put into the market successively . The national feed additive information coorporative network which was initiated and organized by our center has already established long-term cooperation with more than 300 units which spread all over the country , and has cooperated and exchanged with enterprises and scientific research institution of the United States , Japan , Germany , France and Hongkong and Taiwan and other places .
The center will be devoted to the research and development of the new type of feed additives and new type of animal medicine . A key point of the scientific research in the future is the new type of feed additives which have green ,environmental protection , nonpoisonous , without residue characteristics . The new type of feed additives which have independent intellectual property right and perspective characteristics will be especially researched and developed . We will catch up with and surpass international advanced level so as to make our center be in leading competence at home in the field of scientific research , engineering development and product development .
